The series aired from 1991 to 1995, with a total of five seasons and 52 episodes. The series follows the adventures of Ren Höek, an emotionally unstable and sociopathic chihuahua dog; and Stimpy, a good-natured and dimwitted manx cat. Richard Pursel is a television writer, screenwriter and storyboard artist. He is known as a writer for the television series 'The Ren & Stimpy Show', 'SpongeBob SquarePants', and 'Cow and Chicken'.
